Hi all,

I recently completed a microscale model of St. Basil's Cathedral, Red Square,
Moscow. You can see it at

I based my model on several photographs, mostly on postcards. From the postcards
it appears that the bell tower is a separate structure, which I did not build.

I don't have a piece count, but the model contains over 400 round 1x1 white
plates. I completed it in fits and starts over the course of four months.

Hope you enjoy.

You bet! I think its fanatastic, although I had to go browse on the www for
pictures as I was totally unfamiliar with the original and couldn't believe the
model wasn't heavily over-decorated.

As it turns out, the model may be a tad on the conservative side! But in
comparison with pics of the real thing, I think you did an amazing job.

The once lightly populated theme of micro is starting to attract quite a few
people from other themes, it seems. Kinda raises the micro bar .....
