  Re: "Juggernaut" Medium Assault Mecha

(...) I know this was mainly a "big joint" showcase project, but I really like the hand design, specifically the part the fingers are mounted on. I can't remember ever seeing that before. Overall, it's a really interesting mix of Battletech and (...) (20 years ago, 8-Sep-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  Re: PA005A

(...) snip This is pretty cool, David. The two kinds of mechs I'd like to see in person are really compact ones, like yours, and really big ones, like Eric's. In other words, the extremes of scale are the ones hardest to "get" through pics. I agree (...) (20 years ago, 8-Sep-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Calypso...

(...) You lucky dog. I built the model way back when (a model with LOTS of little additional items, like a camera sled, the helo, the Sea Fleas, and the diving saucer.) But that was a while ago. I used some reference from the (URL) Cousteau Society> (...) (20 years ago, 8-Sep-04, to lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

  Re: PA005A

At first glance this "production" version of the PA005 didn't appeal to me as much as the original "prototype". However, after looking at it for a while, I like this suit just as much! :-) I'm really amazed at how everything is so compact and that (...) (20 years ago, 7-Sep-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: The Brick Testament: A Family Stoned and a City Massacred

(...) At least be honest. Your "work" is mockery. It must be very amusing to you to have Christians praise the stories in the BT. Suckers! ;-) JOHN (20 years ago, 7-Sep-04, to lugnet.build.ancient, FTX)

  Re: Calypso...

I once saw the actual ship sailing into Halifax Harbour as a kid and watched the shows of course. Your little model and the lyrics had me humming the tune and remembering the plastic model kit of Calypso I built as a kid. Are you useing instructions (...)   Re: The Brick Testament: A Family Stoned and a City Massacred

(...) Hmm? Well, still illustrating the same book... (...) In my opinion, The Brick Testament itself does not make an argument for or against Christianity, Judaism, or any religion. It merely presents evidence for consideration. And in my view, (...) (20 years ago, 7-Sep-04, to lugnet.build.ancient)

Re: The Brick Testament: A Family Stoned and a City Massacred

(...) Thanks, Stephane, but I can take only so much credit for the work being "killer". ;) (...) temple gate MOC (appropriately enough in his depiction of Jesus bearing his own cross): (URL) I've mentioned to Bruce, I don't find it to be a perfect (...)   Re: The Brick Testament: A Family Stoned and a City Massacred

(...) Thanks, Gary! (...) It's been very encouraging that the site's been so popular, and so many people seem to be enjoying each new update of the site. I have to admit that if I didn't have the audience, I probably would not be continuing to work (...) (20 years ago, 7-Sep-04, to lugnet.build.ancient)
