Just in time for the summer Olympics in Athens I finished the real life version of my MLCad-created Lego model of Parthenon, in approximately 1:240 scale. I missed the initial post the first time I read about this, but my first thought was magnets. My wife (a non-AFOL) thought magnets too when I showed her the video. Really nice Moc. The nose reminds me of my MG3k... If you're interested in feedback, I'd suggest that you remove the 1x3 bricks from the wings and move the black "guns" up in front of the 75 degree slopes to break the otherwise flat (unaerodynamic) (...) Well after seeing so many cool civilian space vehicles I couldn't resist of trying to build one myself. Inspired by those models I took the 4403 airblazers set and started building. Amazing...your mocs are so distinctive. The Diagnostic bay doesn't even look lego to me, and a great moc is backed up by great photography. These are certified grade-A, smack free mocks. As with most of your creations, the colour usage and detailing is just perfect. I especially like the diagnostic centre; very anime in look. Are you going to do any more of these? Ok the hips are a simple worm gear set up using technic triangle plates and worm gears paired to 24 tooth gears. 2x4 plates with technic holes secure them. See here: (URL) (...) Check out this really neat folder on Brickshelf: (URL) creator calls it "microscale" but I think most would agree it's not really microscale (smaller than minifig scale).
