You did a great job with the
big photo e. It was like a clinic in big-mech joint-tech. I could make out
what looked like a worm gear-large gear pairing for the jumping-jack
movement of the shoulders, throwbot gear boxes for the front-back arm swing
and leg swing, technic ball joint elbows, bionicle neck, AT-TE-style click
hinges in the knees, and technic gearboxes in the waist and ankles. I just
cant make out the rest of the hip joint. And of course the head...
|
You got it all right. Except for the 29,003 right side wedge plates.
Ok the hips are a simple worm gear set up using technic triangle plates and worm
gears paired to 24 tooth gears. 2x4 plates with technic holes secure them.
See here:
Thank you sir, Im glad you found the pictures helpful, it is my sincere wish
that people can find my work and photos useful to learn from.

P.S., I think we buy the same brand of little plastic parts drawers.

No way! Mine are 10 feet tall and I can crawl inside the parts trays with room
to spare. Plus the opening and closing motion is controled by 50 RCXs with
DUPLO figs connected at right angles.
