  Another bundle of new MOCs

Yes, I know I haven't been around much. Here's why: (URL) Ever wonder what Retro-Future Pirates fly? Well, this is it. (URL) A little sand-blue Fuchikoma thing. (URL) Weasel light armored vehicle. Enjoy! Soren (20 years ago, 4-Jul-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: B.I. Joe: S.H.A.R.C. Flying Submarine

(...) OK, I have a comment on the model, a comment on your comment, and a comment on the website =) The comment on the model: Awesome. You really managed to capture the look of the original SHARC, to an amazing degree. In some ways I like it better (...) (20 years ago, 3-Jul-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.military, FTX)

Re: Scania LS111 Super with low loader and Menck dragline

(...) Very impressive, as are the other trucks on your site. Sticking at one project for so long is to be commended. I always wished there could be kits of trucks like these, with working functions. I did a few less-detailed trucks as a teenager but (...) (20 years ago, 3-Jul-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  WAMALUG monthly build challenge

The clock is ticking -- and you have just 60 minutes to build something based on this month's secret theme. Sound like fun? We think so, and that's why we're doing it again. WAMALUG will present its second monthly build challenge at 3 p.m. Saturday, (...) (20 years ago, 3-Jul-04, to lugnet.events, lugnet.build, lugnet.fun, FTX) !

  Modular Robotech Excalibur

My favorite Destroid (non-transforming mecha) from the Macross portion of Robotech was always the Excalibur, (aka Tomahawk, (URL) ; also known in BattleTech as the original Warhammer) so I decided to take my modular system for a spin with it. I'm (...) (20 years ago, 2-Jul-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: B.I. Joe: S.H.A.R.C. Flying Submarine

(...) I personally think it a great idea. I also completely agree with turning the S.H.A.R.C. from a submarine to a spaceship as its aesthetics are more aligned to a shuttle craft of some sort. And Kudos to you to making the whole darn thing out of (...) (20 years ago, 2-Jul-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.military, FTX)

Re: Official display in Japan (found more)

Hi Manfred, Thanks for finding these links! I really love these models, especially the Mont St. Michel and the pagodas, so it's great to see larger pictures and get some information.   Re: New MOCs- Mastiff and Quadrachnid 4.0

(...) I should have posted this in lugnet.space as well as lugnet.announce- sorry about that. Todd (20 years ago, 2-Jul-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.technic.bionicle)

Re: Official display in Japan (found more)

I've found more information and pictures about this exibit. For most of the models shown in the posted gallery, I recognized the real life sites they represented. For instance, that middle age city Daan Bargerbos mentioned, is Mont-Saint-Michel in (...) (20 years ago, 2-Jul-04, to lugnet.build.ancient, lugnet.castle, FTX) !!

  B.I. Joe: S.H.A.R.C. Flying Submarine

Greetings! Okay...finally we have a Joe model that is actually more space than military! That adorable, impossible craft from youth, the S.H.A.R.C. : (URL) Let us know what you think! (...) The smack just adds to it. I'm about half way down, marveling at the scale & the scene, the kitty attack, the requisite drowning hoo--- Oh. No. You. DIIIIIIN'T. (20 years ago, 2-Jul-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Ministry Of Information Retrieval

(...) Badly needed color? you talking about the multi-color bots? ;) Eric is a good friend of mine, I was just trying to keep him sane (although, that might be a moot point...) I've been to Eric's place, and that room he's got for Lego building (...) (20 years ago, 1-Jul-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

  O'Canada!

Fellow Canadians, After seeing a large scaled Mountie in "Brickbaron's" Brickshelf folder for the Vancouver Road Show, I was compelled to build my own, but to the same scale as set 3723 (LEGO Mini-Figure Sculpture). Regrettably, his staff with a red (...) (20 years ago, 1-Jul-04, to lugnet.org.ca, lugnet.build, lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.org.ca.parlugment, lugnet.org.ca.vlc, FTX) !!

  Re: Micro-Maersk Container Ship

Hi, Although I'm truly inspired by micro-scale building (and I'm struggling to figure out a way to incorporate its ideals into my CAD class - i.e. scale, selective compression, abstraction, economy, etc.) what I really wanted to compliment you on (...)
