Re: Roo Mech - entry for The Great Breathe Life Into .loc.au competition

Wow. That's really cool. I'd like to see it fight Adrian's turkey to the death. Really beautiful construction, too. The legs are my favorite, lots of schleim. I'm kind of disapointed that the pouch doesn't launch a mini Roomech though... Soren (20 years ago, 31-May-04, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.build.mecha)

Let's review. Steps 1 - 8 Head, hands, chest, shoulders, waist, hips, now, legs and feet. #9 Make some Legs In the last steps, we created some hips. Begin to create some connections to the upper Leg.   Roo Mech - entry for The Great Breathe Life Into .loc.au competition

Here's my entry for the comp. Thanks for the extension Richie - I almost didn't need it :) I might do another one now. Pardon the lack of backstory, but it's late, I'm tired, and I'm just happy to get the thing finished, so please enjoy the pics. (...)   RE: Giant LEGO Mosaic In Owen Sound, Ontario

(...) Bill, sorry about that. Please forgive a silly Mindstorms specialist for not knowing that there was actually a mosaic group. :-) I WILL post pictures once the final mosaic is assembled... Cheers, Ralph (20 years ago, 31-May-04, to lugnet.build.mosaic, lugnet.build.sculpture)

  Re: Paladin mk2 Hardsuit

(...) Wow. I quite liked the original, and like this even more. As the others have said, the sign of an excellent builder is taking what advice works for your style, going back and thinking out what was an exceptional model into a supberb one. Those (...)   Re: LEGO Cicada (bzzz...zzz)

(...) Very nice work!!!! I, too, have built a cicada, I just haven't gotten any pics yet. I used pieces from the Wild Collection set (409?/41??) released last year. Frankly, I think your use of minifig arms better reflects the legs of the little (...) (20 years ago, 31-May-04, to lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: Pyramids!

Hello Erik, thanks for your compliments and annotations. I surely would like to have some more tan slopes ;-) And in using them I discovered that you don't really need the tan bricks to build the original Pyramid, so that does give some perspective (...)   Brictoria Barracks is up and running

G'day all, I've finally got some piccies together, and thought I'd try and get some input from other Lugnet-ers about what I've built (It's not all that much), and any ideas that could be used to improve the models. Although there's not too many (...) (20 years ago, 31-May-04, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.build.military, FTX)

  Announcing the MOCC

My Own Castle Competition. We are hereby happy to announce the official castle-building competition for the Castle Room at BrickFest 2004.   Re: Paladin mk2 Hardsuit

(...) Now that is a PCS hardsuit. Very awesome job with the rework. I really like the look of the lower legs/feet and the back of the torso. All in all, very solid design. Nifty melee weapon he's got there, too. Some more designs like that, and you (...) (20 years ago, 31-May-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Focke-Wulf Fw-61

It has been a "mid-exam" productive weekend and the result is my version of the Focke Wulfe Autogyro Fw61. Like my earlier Kolibri I was hoping for a "as-near-as-damnit" representation.
