  Re: Battleship Project...

(...) I used to make custom kits, so I bought a lot of stuff on clearance to get the parts I need. I sold off the excess via Bricklink, but kept most of the gray bricks and plates. My collection mainly consists of monochrome colors. I did buy a LOT (...) (21 years ago, 23-Jan-04, to lugnet.build.military)

  Re: My second Mecha

  Re: My second Mecha

I thought it was a good mecha. It doesnt cary over many of the shapes that most builders use in mecha, but it still looks awesome, very similar to many japanese builder's styles (good thing :) ) The color scheme is indeed something new, but it (...)   New creation from the twisted mind of Pat Bunn

This MOC does contain the January seed part at its core. My son has dubbed it the Robot King. (URL) RK is very posable with 2 axis rotation in the legs and Pincher arms that twist and raise and lower by the lance pieces sticking up on the back. (...)   Re: My second Mecha

I think its a very nice mecha. The color scheme is very good, the brown, grey and light green are gr8 together. How posable is it, in every picture its simply standing upright. The type of hinges you used dont seem capable of supporting its arms in (...) (21 years ago, 22-Jan-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Big Ugly Yellow Building

Is it a mosque? Is it an office building? Who knows! What I know for sure is that it's BIG and YELLOW. This building appeared in IndyLUG's GATS train layout in October 2003 and January 2004.   Re: 3 ideas I had

(...) Ah, my mistake. I can't recall any specific uses of that design that I've seen, but I'd still be surprised if it hasn't been used before by someone (flip it upside-down and it sounds like a neat idea for part of a nano-scale building).   Re: 3 ideas I had

(...) They do, but they spin freely in the sockets. I'd lean more towards using black friction pins (maybe with black axes to make them less obvious?) which will both grip on the inside of the hub and the axle handle. Er, they grip the axe a bit (...)   Re: 3 ideas I had

(...) Three might be tricky to pull off. There are only three pieces that I can think of that allow you to attach things at exactly 120 degree intervals, and one of them is a fairly new TECHNIC tri-beam that only comes in two sets. This is probably (...) (21 years ago, 20-Jan-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, lugnet.pirates, lugnet.castle)
