  Re: spider walker

(...) Thanks, I'm really happy with it. (...) Actually, its path curves slightly to the left. The body's center of gravity needed to be kept near the leg driver attachment points to minimize its momentum of rotation both forward and to the sides. As (...)   Re: 2 hoverbikes, a chair & a X-wing barrel top slope solution

(...) I really like this one....it's simplicity and lightweight appearance would go well with an exploration ship. Hmmm.... Cheers, -G (21 years ago, 16-Jun-03, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space, lugnet.town)

  Blacktronicle II: Bohrokitron

After building the first one, I couldn't resist making one using the Bohrok frame, since I already knew it was possible. I borrowed the basic concept from Paul Coombs' Gremlin, but the construction is completely original, though it borrows a bit (...)   Re: spider walker

(...) Now if it could only turn corners.... BTW, those Brickshelf URLs (with ?i=xxx) are not available until after moderation either - you need to link one level deeper, like you did with the MPG URL. Regards ROSCO (21 years ago, 16-Jun-03, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.build, lugnet.starwars)

Re: New MOC: Terran Advanced Scientific Satellite

(...) Thanks, it's a nice break from 'manned' space ships. (...) Wow, that's exactly the time period I wanted! :) (...) Yes, I used a lot of them, but I'm really horrible at doing greebles! (...) Stay tuned! (URL) (21 years ago, 16-Jun-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, FTX)

  Nuhvok-Ka

Hi all, This MOC started as an attempt to make a car using the Nuhvok canopy. I realised early on that I was just surrounding the canopy with regular bricks when there were plenty of other interesting parts from the Nuhvok lying around too. So I (...)   spider walker

I've had this wind-up mechanical spider for so long that I no longer remembered what it was called. I've always been fascinated with how it moved and wanted to recreate it with LEGO. It's been a fun project, and many challenges were overcome in (...) (21 years ago, 15-Jun-03, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.build, lugnet.starwars, lugnet.announce.moc)

Re: New MOC: Terran Advanced Scientific Satellite

(...) OOh, I like. Satellites are cool. I like the shape of this one. The solar panels are a nice touch- you don't see them much in .space nowadays- must be some advanced magneto-fusion reactor or something. And the satellite-within-a-satellite is (...)   Re: Blacktronicle

(...) IMHO, absolutely nothing. Well, that's not entirely true. I still have to pay for them, and a lot of the pieces I love to use are not currently in production. In particular, I'd love a steady stream of black Toa legs, colored Toa heads, and (...) (21 years ago, 14-Jun-03, to lugnet.technic.bionicle, lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: New MOC: Terran Advanced Scientific Satellite

-snip- (...) -snip- Adm Wells, This is really a nice little ditty. I like your current trend of probes and satellites. This certainly would fit within a futuristic, NASA-esque line such as LOM. Not quite as far as PCS, but in that 'in between' era. (...) (21 years ago, 14-Jun-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, FTX)
