Hi all,
This MOC started as an attempt to make a car using the Nuhvok canopy. I realised
early on that I was just surrounding the canopy with regular bricks when there
were plenty of other interesting parts from the Nuhvok lying around too. So I
ditched the first attempt and started again.
As I built I realised the transforming possibilities of these parts, and Ive
been thinking about building a transforming model, what with all the other great
ones popping up lately. I was also inspired by Purple Dave to look at my
Bionicle bin a bit more closely.
The end result came together relatively quickly for me (one evenings building)
and Im pretty pleased with it, so I present for your perusal the
Nohvok-Ka transforming
car/biomecha.
Enjoy, and as usual PLMKWYT.

| Just a quick update to note that I've added a spoiler, headlights and front bumper to this and put new pictures up on brickshelf, along with an efficiently streaming (read: blurry and lo-res) video of it transforming. thanks, and aplogies for (...) | (...) Excellent job Allister! You've pulled off the fusion of brick and Bionicle brilliantly. Too bad that that's going to cost you responses in this forum where the majority of your fellow builders don't appreciate the elegance that is Bionicle. (...) | (...) Mmmm...transformers... I'd love it if that became our next fad :) This is quite cool. Nice to see a few more .spacers embracing the usability of more pieces. Just because it's bionicle doesn't mean it's crap! Adrian (21 years ago, 24-Jun-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

| (...) The first time I looked at this I wasn't too fond of it. My mind got wrapped around the idea of a sedan, and it really doesn't work for that, but as a dunebuggy it's a rather interesting design. The version shown in the last three images looks (...)
