Re: New models of Semi Trucks etc.

Thanks to everyone for your comments. I am thinking of starting a Railroad module using a somewhat scaled down version of the GMLTC modules and I think the Semi's will be included along with a warehouse or other delivery/tranfer point with the (...)   Another brick in the wall...

I just got some cheap purple buckets, and I want to make some scenery for smoe of my models. The problem is, I don't have many doors or windows (just the ones that come with set 5571, Huge Freaking Truck). Also, by now I've used most of my slopes, (...) (25 years ago, 31-Aug-99, to lugnet.build)

  Re: star destroyer?

(...) Well, if *I* were Emperor, I'd need that space just to fit my Lego collection. Well, it wouldn't all be for Lego, but I would need a logistics base for the Lego-bearers, modelling slave droids, collection administrators, piece acquisition (...)   Re: star destroyer?

(...) I'd have to agree... the SMALLEST microfig tie figher I can imagine (1x2 tile, 1x1 round plate, 1x2 plate w/ centered stud) is about 9.6mm wide. TIE fighters are (roughly) 6 meters wide. The Executer (the super star destroyer) is about 8,000 (...) (25 years ago, 30-Aug-99, to lugnet.build)

Lego Expo at the Toy Connection (Crystal Lake, IL)

The Lego expo at the Toy Connection Saturday was a great success! I went with Brandon Grifford (Zacktron co-creator) and took about an hour, hour and a half trip to get there [1]. Remy Evard from Lugnet was there along with Matt Chasse, TLG (...) (25 years ago, 30-Aug-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build, lugnet.starwars)

  #1682 Space Shuttle mod

I recommend this modification to all those who have this set. 1. Replace the trans-light blue windshield (ugh!) on the Space Shuttle with the "smoke"-colored one from the rear of the Star Wars Snowspeeder. 2. Enjoy! It's a very simple switch, but (...) (25 years ago, 29-Aug-99, to lugnet.build)

(...) show. (...) for (...) At a guess, that ISD would be roughly the length of your bedroom. You'd have just as much luck building a minifig-scale NCC1701. Cheers, - jsproat (25 years ago, 29-Aug-99, to lugnet.build)
