  Eyeball MOC

Hi all, I completed my first sculpture after doing my Olympic Rings mosaic. It is an eyeball. I'm fairly happy with it, as making spheres proved harder than I anticipated. The "top" of the eye, near the iris is a bit too flat, but oh well. Chalk it (...) (23 years ago, 7-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.sculpture)

  The Unsuspecting City of Brikingham

After joining in on the fun of Mike Rayhawk's BrikWars session at BricksWest, I decided I want to try out running a BrikWars game of my own with some of my friends. Greatly inspired by Mike's teams, I created eleven of my own 9-unit armies, each (...) (23 years ago, 7-Mar-02, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.gaming, lugnet.town) !!

(...) Hi Tobbe and welcome, Check out this site and the links too. This will give you a sample of the Japanese stuff.   Re: New OOC: Motorized 14 wide Jeep Cherokee

(...) Yeah, well I have more pieces than you, so I can think of weird things like this :) And there's nothing wrong with making judicious use of a wonderful element like the ninja swords. Adrian (23 years ago, 7-Mar-02, to lugnet.build)

RE: New OOC: Motorized 14 wide Jeep Cherokee

(...) One idea that Adrian came up with for this model, which worked really great, especially because there are two doors on each side, was a half-stud rearward offset for the rear doors. This leaves a half stud gap between the rear edge of the door (...) (23 years ago, 7-Mar-02, to lugnet.build)

RE: New OOC: Motorized 14 wide Jeep Cherokee

(...) That was Adrian's idea. He seems to use swords everywhere! :) Adrian came up with quite a few part selections that would never have crossed my mind. --Bram Bram Lambrecht bram@cwru.edu www.bldesign.org (23 years ago, 7-Mar-02, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Lego Technic Exo-suits

(...) Cool! I really like the Hulk one. There are three things I've always wanted to build for technic figures: a speeder bike, an exosuit/mecha, and a small spacecraft. IMO, people don't build enough stuff for them. I like the fact that you used (...) (23 years ago, 7-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New OOC: Motorized 14 wide Jeep Cherokee

(...) That's not the hard part... (...) That's why I try to, but somewhere after the grill and hood I can't get the fenders to look right, or the doors for that matter (you're right, hollow studs don't look any better than inverted plates. And the (...) (23 years ago, 6-Mar-02, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Lego Technic Exo-suits

Whats up? I havent talked to you for a long time... If I remember correctly you showed inrest in buying my MREX model, quite a time ago. I like both these guys, very cool. Especially all the detail on the hulk/loader one.. Will you do any new stuff? (...) (23 years ago, 6-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New OOC: Motorized 14 wide Jeep Cherokee

Wow! As both an AFOJ (Adult fan of Jeeps) and the owner of a blue Grand Cherokee I especially enjoyed seeing your amazingly detailed model. The detail is amazing (OK, so whose idea was it to use swords for the windshield wipers? =) -Ed (URL) (23 years ago, 6-Mar-02, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Lego Technic Exo-suits

These are way cool! Usually technic doesn't lend itself well to completed mecha (IMO) but this worked out really well. The Hulk has enough to it that looks detailed. Engreebled one might say... All the features make it look like it's fun to play (...) (23 years ago, 6-Mar-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Jet and Spike

(...) Hey, great figures. I love CB and your renditions are really good. I really enjoyed your gunboat too. What did you use to make the hair? What kind of paint did you use? Will you post instructions for your MOCs? Thanks Tony. (23 years ago, 6-Mar-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.minifigs)

  Re: Sarlacc Pit

Joe, So you did spot those droid arms inside! It was kinda tough going through at first in building the pit. But the effort was well worth it after we completed it and the results are what you now see. Those little touches were added afterwards as (...)
