hi, they are double ended click-joint pieces. One side has one finger, and the other has two. it can be used for extending the range of click hinges from 90 degrees to 180 degrees, rather useful for mecha joints. I used them here: (URL) a whip for (...) (23 years ago, 13-Jan-02, to lugnet.build)

gary, don't sweat the replies... i think everyone who posts in here finds that from time to time they get no response. i've posted a ton of stuff since Dec 1 and haven't seen much action (but hey, there's the time of year to consider, etc.) keep on (...) I completely agree, he phrased everything as it was coming from his point of view, and he was merely trying to start discussion about what other people thought was the best out there.
