New MOC: 12 wide 1949 Mercury Foordoor Sedan

This is what chrome was made for! This model is the same scale as the cars at Legoland. The front doesn't quite look like the 1949/50 Mercury, but I still like it. (URL) LMKWYT!   Re: New MOC: Aquilla

Good job Joel! I wanted to congradulate you in making a good looking mech out of this world in the scale that you did. Not so easy. I love the nestled in cockpit and 'south of the border' detailing. If anything I would add more color! Yellows and (...) (23 years ago, 13-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Define Mecha Types Por Moi...

(...) All I'd add to that is battle armor (slightly larger than human, exoskeleton armor basically) and Super heavy/Assault Mech(a) (Walking fortresses). Rule of thumb; small=fast big=slow. But not always. Now that I think of it Warhammer 40,000 (...) (23 years ago, 13-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: New MOC: Aquilla

(...) Great model, Joel! I love avain-looking mecha and this is one of the coolest. My one problem with it is the 7 color colorscheme, but I tend to go overboard on that sort of thing anyway. :) Keep up the great work! -Dave (23 years ago, 12-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)
