  Re: -AFOL Rivalries-

(...) Hit Target while you can then, as I am in PA and return on Friday nite... What an unfortunate turn of events to be drawn away on emergency work the DAY AFTER CHRISTMAS... (23 years ago, 26-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.military, lugnet.org.us.michlug)

  Re: -AFOL Rivalries-

(...) Cry me a river, bub. 'backyard'? You don't know how lucky you are. Larry lives less than 3 miles from me. ;) Steve (23 years ago, 26-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.military, lugnet.org.us.michlug)

Re: New MOC: Artist's Studio Retreat (ISCC Entry)

(...) One word: Marvelous! The design is innovative, and the way you were able to capture the feel of the model and sketches in Lego is amazing. I am not a big fan of "modern" architecture, but this building is spectacular. Henry (23 years ago, 26-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.build.contests)

  Re: STATUE OF LIBERTY ?!

(...) As unfortunate as it may be, Brad Justus of LD announced (amongst much good news) that... "As it happened, the sales of these items has been so great the past few weeks that we have depleted our stocks. We were not planning on re-manufacturing (...)   Re: New MOC: Artist's Studio Retreat (ISCC Entry)

(...) Bram, Wow, what an original MOC, I like it. I don't think I've seen a MOC anything like it before. The only minor quibble I have is that the studio area could be bigger. Thanks, George (23 years ago, 26-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.build.contests)

  STATUE OF LIBERTY ?!

Heya all ! What happened with Statue of Liberty on LEGO S&H website ??? I can't find it! It seems that it's no more available ! Where can I buy now this set ? Thanks. Rene (23 years ago, 26-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.sculpture, lugnet.general)

New MOC: Artist's Studio Retreat (ISCC Entry)

Well, after 5 days or so, my entry still isn't up on the ISCC website, so I decided to go ahead and post the pictures on my own site. My entry is a modern architecture studio on the beach, designed in the style of architect Le Corbusier: (URL) (...)   who needs inspiration?

For all of you who like building various futuristic war machines and various four-legged mecha there is a game for the gba that has a very large amount of inspiration pieces. Those who don't want to buy a gba and the game can just get the emulator (...) (23 years ago, 26-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: all my mecha

(...) I really like the ball joints and my first mecha design. I used 6 per mecha. The mecha was small enough that a single ball joint was enough to hold the body up. but occasionly when the pose is extreme or too much off ballence weight is applied (...)   Re: Heckler & Koch MP5 sub-machine gun

(...) Not necassarily. You could use the 4x4 cylinder bricks with the holes in the sides for the silencer. That is, if you don't mind there being holes along the side of your silencer (it may not be prototypical, but you could call 'em flash (...) (23 years ago, 25-Dec-01, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Heckler & Koch MP5 sub-machine gun

Great replica! (...) it (...) Well, to be honest I guess I'm not entirely comfortable with the idea of building something like this myself. I guess it just touches a "this is just TOO realistic a depction of an instruument of death" type of nerve in (...) (23 years ago, 25-Dec-01, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Heckler & Koch MP5 sub-machine gun

(...) Only one poster really tried knocking your last effort. He incited some heated responses, of which mine was one. I'm expecting him to chime in again as well, but this time I'm hoping for a point that is a bit more consistent and well thought (...) (23 years ago, 25-Dec-01, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Heckler & Koch MP5 sub-machine gun

(...) I certainly hope you dont get any....not from here, at least. Having presently owning the real thing (HK94, 16" BBL 9mm, ...and yes, it is BATF legal!) I wonder how the lego version would compare. There is little kick to it, and not much (...) (23 years ago, 25-Dec-01, to lugnet.build)

Re: New Alpha Team Canopies -- A Change of Heart

(...) #4793 also includes another piece that interacts with the new canopies. It is an adapter with 2 technic connectors on one side and a click hinge on the other side. This piece can be used to create hinged cockpits with the new windscreens (and (...) (23 years ago, 24-Dec-01, to lugnet.build)

New Alpha Team Canopies -- A Change of Heart

Hey Y'all: After getting the new 4792 set today as a pre-Xmas gift, I have decided that I am getting to like *some* aspects of the new canopy design -- or at the very least, the design and roll-out of these new elements is not as bad as I had (...) (23 years ago, 24-Dec-01, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Hs132 Jet Divebomber Resource

(...) Are you using an A-Wing canopy? Seems like it would look fairly close. I guess it depends on how everything else is scaled though. Please post some shots whenever you get a chance though, I'm interested in how you handle the engine and (...) (23 years ago, 23-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.military)
