Well, to be honest I guess I'm not entirely comfortable with the idea of
building something like this myself. I guess it just touches a "this is just
TOO realistic a depction of an instruument of death" type of nerve in me. I've
shot an MP5 myself durig my national service; and seen the little holes in the
target afterwards, and I know that one day I might be told to do that to
another person, which isn't a very easy thought to deal with. But I certainly
don't feel it is up to me to dictate to others what to build. After all, I
build warplanes, tanks and castles with torture chambers all the time!
Truth is, I can really dig your MOC for its attention to detail, very true to
the original. As I mentioned, I've handled this kind of weapon myself, and it
certainly is quite a light, "cool looking" thing to lug around. (But give me a
G3 assault rifle over the MP5 any day!) You could perhaps build a seperate
attachment for a mag lite under the barrel or something?
