  Re: Mecha Hall of fame?

(...) Yeah, pretty cool! I don't think I've seen all of these mechs before. Man, I wish this was around when I first started building mecha; it would have saved me a bunch of time! Christopher (23 years ago, 14-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: terrain in LDraw

I don't understand the command line. I have a PGM. I typed "pgmtoldr filename.pgm" at the command prompt, and received a bunch of errors. No DAT file. :( Do I need a bunch of Linux stuff to run it? Mike (...) (23 years ago, 14-Aug-01, to lugnet.cad.dev, lugnet.build.arch)

  Re: *BIG* Update!

Mirage is now my background :-) Excellent job! I just remebered I have a website. I suppose I should update it, eh? :-D (...) (23 years ago, 14-Aug-01, to lugnet.cad.ray, lugnet.build, lugnet.space)

  Re: terrain in LDraw

Oh, I didn't know you'd made a DAT file out of that yet. I just visited your site and was looking at that model. Very nice! Would you consider contributing your model to my new village I'm building? I'm trying to make it a screen north of Datsville. (...) (23 years ago, 14-Aug-01, to lugnet.cad.dev, lugnet.build.arch)

  Re: Mecha Hall of fame?

Yeah it a cool deal. However all those folders knocked my Cankerworm off the recent page rather quickly :-( <note the shameless plug!> Funny thing is that I made a Powerpoint slide show about 4 months ago but it was too big to load onto Brickshelf (...)   RE: terrain in LDraw

(...) 1 pixel = 1 stud. I used Jacob's utility to create the terrain for the CAD scenes I did of Fallingwater: (URL) make the scene, I colored in a topographical map of the landscape with white as high and black as low. I saved it as a low quality (...) (23 years ago, 14-Aug-01, to lugnet.cad.dev, lugnet.build.arch)

  Re: Mecha Hall of fame?

(...) Yeah, I had to laugh about mine...or what I assume to be mine. "Jack McKeen" is the title...so I'm not sure if that was really supposed to be "Jake McKee" or not! Jake --- Jake McKee AFOL LUGNET Member #211 (23 years ago, 14-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Mecha Hall of fame?

(...) Yeah, I saw this too. I'm flattered and all, but I would have liked to have been asked permission, or at least somehow notified. Oh well, why am I complaining, this is the first HOF I've ever been in. :-) BTW, to whoever is responsible for the (...) (23 years ago, 14-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  HoverThing Contest Entry: Tornado HoverCycle

Since some people felt that my Raptor was a little too out there, I decided to build a slightly smaller and less outrageous HoverCycle. To that end, I present the Tornado. It's much akin to a futuristic Jetski. It is on the space section of my web (...) (23 years ago, 14-Aug-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.contests)

  Re: Mecha Hall of fame?

Re: Putting your bricks where your mouth is...

Good idea! I like it! There's no real reason they shouldn't accept it, or at least build a variation/similar structure, with some inspiration from it. Of course, if I were them I'd already be browsing Lugnet looking for more ideas and things like (...) (23 years ago, 13-Aug-01, to lugnet.build)

Re: New Construction Toy In LDraw Format!

(...) Probably. I re-uploaded it in binary mode now, so it should work... (...) Nasty links to local files... Try it now. Thanks, --Ryan (23 years ago, 13-Aug-01, to lugnet.cad.dev, lugnet.general, lugnet.build)

Re: Putting your bricks where your mouth is...

(...) Well put. I'm no lawyer either, but for everyone participating it should be presumed that posting your work is almost like giving carte blanc to anyone (or any entity) wishing to "borrow" the idea. I suggest that those who desire to protect (...) (23 years ago, 13-Aug-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.general, lugnet.lego.direct)

Awww yeah! The Legomaster drives a Hopped-Up 84' Chevy Monte Carlo! It's an H-model to begin with, then we added a rebuilt 350 c.i.d. from an old 79' Corvette Sting-ray! Vrrroooomm!! (URL) pipes added last month! You go boy wit your bad-arse NASCAR (...) (23 years ago, 13-Aug-01, to lugnet.build)

  Mecha Hall of fame?

(URL) is a pretty neat idea, whose responsible for this awesome gallery? Very cool IMO, C'ya, -Geordan- (23 years ago, 13-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New mech, PMC Kannon, hopefully a good day for mecha,

Hey cool idea! I might try that, although those joints may be a little too large for the scale I work at, I'll try to give it a shot though, The pins I was talking about though were these, (URL) seem to be billions of uses for this piece, -Geordan- (...)
