  Re: LEGO DNA Sculpture

So large... So beautiful... LOL!!! Excellent job Eric! Oh BTW, (I might have told you this before, but maybe not) your San sculpture from Princess Mononoke is AWESOME!!! BUT! What would really blow me away is if you did a sculpture of a Lord of the (...) (24 years ago, 3-Apr-01, to lugnet.build)

(...) Ah, the common DNA of all Minifigs (except Timmies and JarJars) Excellent work. I hope you are nominated for the Nobel. :^) ~1st Lieutenant, Fleebnork Division Muffin Head (24 years ago, 3-Apr-01, to lugnet.build)

  Re: LEGO DNA Sculpture

That is really awesome Eric. I always wanted to do something with a spiral. This might inspire me. Another great piece by one of the best builders. (...) (24 years ago, 3-Apr-01, to lugnet.build)

  Classic Space Style Space Shuttle

Hello everyone, my name is Eric DeGiuli and I would like to announce my first published MOC: a Space Shuttle in the style of Classic Space. I would guess that it took me 8 hours of straight building time to make, but spread out (very unevenly) over (...) (24 years ago, 4-Apr-00, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

  LEGO DNA Sculpture

A while back a number of 'mathematically inclined' LEGO models were posted and generated a lot of interest. Here's my contribution to such a theme: (URL) ---...--- Eric Harshbarger / eric@ericharshbarger.org / www.ericharshbarger.org "Oh please, if (...)   Re: Building habits

(...) Ok this is my first post I've done. I have been reading Lugnet for about two years. I am 14 years old and am hoping for the time when I don't have to go to school. I am in the keep category because I tend to have things built for a little (...) (24 years ago, 3-Apr-01, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

  Condor-Class Medium Fighter

The Condor's wings have been sitting on my desk for a while, and since it is Spring Break here, i decided to finish her. Here is the link...   Re: Building habits

(...) Yes! Actually, the A-Wing Carrier was scrapped just before my in-laws visited in December (it took up so much space in our other bedroom). I usually keep models until I'm satisfied with the photos I've taken. The A-Wing Carrier stayed around (...) (24 years ago, 3-Apr-01, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

Re: Check out the Womans team for Soccer!!! #3416

(...) Mel, I thought the purpose of 2870s was to even up the female/male ratio. Though being brunettes, the China comment would still apply. (24 years ago, 2-Apr-01, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.build.minifigs)

  Re: Building habits

(...) I've looked into this and apparently color sensors can only differentiate between black, white and grey which to me was really bad news. The £150 spent on mindstorms to build a sorter would also be better spent on more technic and a bit of (...) (24 years ago, 2-Apr-01, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

Re: Check out the Womans team for Soccer!!! #3416

(...) nah this isn't a joke as much as my own sarcasm may have been on some other issues :P but this is a nice way (for when it comes out) to get that female~male population even (my collection of minifigs looks like China right now, so many men and (...)   Re: Building habits

...I've been giving serious thought to sorting my collection, even if only by color. lazy though I am, i know that all my really cool pieces are cowering in fear at the bottom of the huge (60 gallons) tub which houses the bulk of my collection.   Re: Building habits

(...) This is a very timely subject for me. I'm a life-long Non-sorter with only 1 or two break downs in my career. I've always had the draws but never sorted, until recently that is. I couldn't stand it any more, scrabbling through box's of lego to (...) (24 years ago, 2-Apr-01, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

Re: Perfect Universal Set - Was: Building habits

(...) While I agree a universal set to please everyone is impossible, I think a universal set to please anyone is impossible. I used to use pneumatics a lot but none of my latest models have any (apart from my bulldozer). What we should turn our (...) (24 years ago, 2-Apr-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.technic)

Perfect Universal Set - Was: Building habits

James Simpson wrote that he was a tinkerer that liked the old Universal Sets. Some years ago, I found a beat up 8062 case with all the parts still in bags. I used to take it on trips to help relax on business trips. Then I got into Mindstorms and (...) (24 years ago, 2-Apr-01, to lugnet.build, lugnet.technic)

  Re: Building habits

When I was young, my mom managed to come how with a 5 or 6-foot high revolving plastic pink display stand from some store that kept L'eggs or some such feminine product on it. I kept (...)
