I checked out this book from the library a while back. It is in German...as far as I know there is no English language version. Some comments about the book: It is very innacurate...for instance, it says that Lego fans on the internet have published (...) (24 years ago, 20-Nov-00, to lugnet.books)

A bit quiet here, anyone still look at this group? OK, I got the "Introducing Robotics with LEGO Mindstorms" and it's not bad. It uses photographs to show the model construction which can be a little unclear at times, but the descriptions with them (...) (24 years ago, 22-Sep-00, to lugnet.books)

The old LEGO book ranges are 238 (the first one 1960-68), followed by 239, 240, 241 and 242. 241 and 242 are similar. 241 is more for trains, while 242 (The LEGO Motor) is trains, planes, rockets and ships. 239-242 came out around 1968-72.
