  Re: Valiant Recon

(...) The nose started it all and just wanted to simplify the design of the body to complement it. The 'spine' was meant to have some weaponry but didn't come out right, so it stayed as is. Thanks, ACPin & Sons (21 years ago, 11-Dec-03, to lugnet.aquazone, lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Valiant Recon

(...) We've gotten quite a bunch of yellow bricks from the Alpha sets which haven't been used. This presented an opportunity to make use of them and the cockpit was what started it all. I'd like to see how you come up with the bomber using the same (...) (21 years ago, 11-Dec-03, to lugnet.aquazone, lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Valiant Recon

Hey, Amado! That's very cool! I'm getting to be more and more impressed with your stuff. This is really cool. Plus, it's yellow! SWEET!! :) The now classic front window design works very well here, for an underwater craft, and the prints actually (...) (21 years ago, 11-Dec-03, to lugnet.aquazone, lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Joe Meno, the new Sultan of Sea Monkey

(...) Agreed. and wouldn't that give the Nautilus a large advantage? I would just like to see the Nautilus split a ship in half..just once:) Joe (...) (21 years ago, 10-Dec-03, to lugnet.aquazone, lugnet.gaming, FTX)

  Re: Valiant Recon

(...) Wow, nice craft there! I find myself really impressed with the detail work you die, like the 'spine' on the top right behind the skylights and the engine turbines. The nose is a good use of the printed canopies, too. Nice sculpting too...good (...) (21 years ago, 10-Dec-03, to lugnet.aquazone, lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Valiant Recon

(...) hey, Way neato looking. Am I aquazone or space? Who Cares... looks like you found creative uses for the stuff a lot of us can't seem to figure out what to do with. The Nose/Canopy section is great, and would be fitting for a giant crimsons (...) (21 years ago, 10-Dec-03, to lugnet.aquazone, lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Valiant Recon

(...) All I can say is Wow. Okay, maybe I can say more than that. It's beautiful!! Gorgeous use of SNOT techniques in the cabin and the windows on top. I really like the engines - both in the rear and on the sides. Overall it has a very nice sleek (...) (21 years ago, 10-Dec-03, to lugnet.aquazone, lugnet.space)

Check out our latest MOC from our (URL) homepage>. Have you ever started building with a design that somewhat turned out different than what you have planned for?   Re: Fish 'n Ship

(...) Thanks again! Yeah, when finished I also thought it came closer to the sunfish. [face_embarrassed] but I couldn't remember what you actually called the fish that had been swimming in the back of my head so I was going off that combined with (...)   Re: Fish 'n Ship

(...) Wouldn't that be swimming:)? (...) Alright, an SM craft! And one that looks classy, too. This looks like a sunfish to me, and your placing of the SM in the eyes is pretty cool! Nice work with the sculpture too, some good choices with color! (...) (21 years ago, 9-Dec-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.aquazone)

Re: Joe Meno, the new Sultan of Sea Monkey

(...) I'm not sure I've seen much Brikwars based fleet action. It's an interesting idea though, and I know Nik's been working hard at setting up some troopers for it (I can tell because he's been raiding my minifig supplies)... Most Brikwars battles (...)   Re: interesting contest idea

(...) Or we could just have a fad. It's easier to organise, and there's no submission deadline! I've got too much orange, so I'm going to make a carrot-ship. Nice and easy shape, too ;-) Cheers, (URL) Sci-Fi LEGO> (21 years ago, 8-Dec-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.aquazone, lugnet.general, FTX)

(...) Thanks! I didn't get a good shot of the cockpit, but he...she...it..."The Pilot" ;) does have instrumentation for a full view. I'll add a picture tonight, but the one white angle I have there is from a divers set and actually has an angle fish (...) (21 years ago, 7-Dec-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.aquazone)

  interesting contest idea

After seeing the Fish 'n Ship model, I got the idea that mabie we should have a "ships that look like sutff" contest. Basicly, the idea is that you make a spaceship, submarine, boat, airplane or the like that looks like a real-world object that isnt (...)
