Hi all,

To help the HopLab along in exploring planetary objects, the engineers of
the era before Classic Space created a platform for Mineral Scanning and
Detecting as well as Mapping and Recon.  The Uranium Search Flyer, or US
FLY, can usually be seen in formation supporting the Hoplab, but they are
also used in long range detection and science missions on their own.

The US FLY's duties were split in the Classic era into the Vehicular power
of the http://guide.lugnet.com/set/6928  and the Unnamed speed of the

So, here ya go ya space monkeys:

Scanning and Navigation are the front PCSfig's job, Flight and Operations
are the rear pilot's job.  Rear dual hatch is similar to HopLab.  This craft
is equipped with ports for different science pods (on back of white engine
cover) and the addition of a rover or Lab pod attachment between the
engines.  (pics of that to come once built).

And we'll have fun, fun FUN! This again show why this subtheme kicks thruster. The detailing of this is just incredible. I LOVE the small bell with sensor inside - definately one for the greeb database. The length of it really plays to the retro (...) (22 years ago, 7-Feb-03, to lugnet.space)

Now thats some Pre Classic-Space goodness. Really good job there Chris. I like the engines the best. Keep it up. A question though. Is there a set guide line on whats required to build something in the Pre Classic-space sub theme? Like Chris (...) (22 years ago, 7-Feb-03, to lugnet.space)

I LOVE these ships. I spotted this on the new stuff on brickshelf. Peronally reminds me of something space-1999-ish, nothing specifi, just a kind of feel to it. Most excellent! (...) (22 years ago, 7-Feb-03, to lugnet.space)

Dude, DAMN! I love it. The engines in particular are really nice, just the right level of greebly-ness. Your Pre-Classic stuff never fails to amaze me. Take care, Soren (22 years ago, 7-Feb-03, to lugnet.space)

(...) Once again Chris, you have excelled in both form and function. A couple of minor things though: 1. You are going to have some sort of payload in the aft space between the engines, right? The space between should be functionally justified to (...) (22 years ago, 8-Feb-03, to lugnet.space)

Just saw this. Awesome ship! I love the spidery, delicate feel of it. Makes The paradisa windows are excellent, and really make the whole thing stand out. And nice use of the ball turret bottoms. Very cool. -Stefan- (...) (22 years ago, 9-Feb-03, to lugnet.space)
