The following visuals are from a
SeaFlea
about a minute before its signal was lost:
with this image being the final transmission:
Currently, Alpha Team Intelligence has identified it as a single occupant Sea
Monkey craft with a highly agile drive system. As the SeaFlea encountered an
extraordinary amount of signal interference, the current speculation is that the
fins serve as a antenna array of some type.
What is odd is that the ship appeared to be unarmed. Alpha Team Intel is
currently monitoring the situation and will be releasing more
photos as they are
deciphered from the SeaFleas transmission logs, which were garbled from some
unusual interference.

Notes: I have been wanting to do a lionfish for some time for the SMs, but
didnt know how to incorporate the SM in or on the craft. I got the head/cockpit
idea from Gareth Bowler (Gareth at FBTB)- thanks!!

| (...) Wow! Joe, this thing is great! You nailed the lionfish camoflage. I thought it was black at first but brown is spiffy. Excellent cockpit (missed that at FBTB) and overall form. I do have a question/comment and a criticism. First, off the (...) (21 years ago, 19-Jun-03, to lugnet.aquazone, lugnet.space, FTX)

| (...) Nice work Joe, on a good idea. I think that the dorsal fin should be made in the same way as the side fins, though - with some sort of SNOT to turn the studs on their sides to do it. That would nicely complete the cool "spreading spines" (...) (21 years ago, 19-Jun-03, to lugnet.aquazone, lugnet.space, FTX)

| (...) Ooh, very cool, Joe. Very interesting solution to a tough-to do creature. I like the cockpit, altough I would have to agree that I think the main body is a little too blocky, and seems kind of 'open' right at the behind the head. Also, the (...) | (...) (URL) (...) ARG. LUGnet keeps losing my replies! I had said that I was all over this thing, Joe. It's amazing how 'fishy' you coaxed the bricks to be. It couldn't have been easy to maintain that colour scheme either. All this, and a cockpit (...) (21 years ago, 19-Jun-03, to lugnet.aquazone, lugnet.space, FTX)
