    LDraw.org 2010-02 Parts Update Now Available —Chris Dee
   The 2010-02 LDraw parts update has been now been released. This update includes 950 files in the core library, including 471 new parts, and many more files updated with improvements for Back Face Culling support. A further 10 parts have been (...) (14 years ago, 5-Jul-10, to lugnet.announce, lugnet.cad) !!

     First of all: once again thanks to all who made this possible. Very impressive update! The thing is now that my mklist does not create a new parts.lst file. I can choose between Number of Description. It starts counting x parts found, but no new (...) (14 years ago, 6-Jul-10, to lugnet.cad)

     (...) Thanks for your kind words. I guess I forgot that this update is the first to include files that exceed the 8.3 naming, and we needed a new version of mklist.exe.      (...) The version of mklist.exe packaged with the early versions of this download was not able to cope with long filenames, and running it would not have updated your parts list. With a fast response from Don Heyse (the author of mklist) the (...) (14 years ago, 9-Jul-10, to lugnet.announce, lugnet.cad, FTX) !

     Well done to everyone who's contributed to the parts update. Keep up the great work. I've just had a quick browse of the updated parts and I can already see a part I need for my Police Car model - (URL) is the preferred modeling tool for creating (...) But the problem with this kind of tools is that it requires careful planning to make good use of (URL) LDraw primitives> that provide compact code and better (...)      Thanks for the summary of tools. Following on from my recent post "Lego - Anakin's Jedi Starfighter 7669", what's the best tool for adding a sticker to an existing part?    I'm a little confused about the installation procedure. Are the parts updates cumulative? I mean, do they contain all the parts of the previous updates, or do I have to install them in a particular order? The LDraw.org website doesn't explain this, (...)
