Re: PRESS RELEASE- LEGO Toy Company Propels Imaginations Around the World Into Hyperdrive

(...) They're not even going to build a life-size X-Wing or Landspeeder or Sandcrawler. I seem to remember from the actual contest rules that it's the same as the kids grand prize - a life-size model of the favorite Star Wars *character*. (Still, (...) (25 years ago, 3-Sep-99, to lugnet.general)

(...) Life size characters, not vehicles. Life size Boba Fett or if you like brown, Chewie. (25 years ago, 4-Sep-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: PRESS RELEASE- LEGO Toy Company Propels Imaginations Around the World Into Hyperdrive

(...) I guess full size vehicles would be too good ... Isn't Darth Vader around 6.5' or 7' in the movies? That'd be a ton of black ... if they weren't glued ... -Lee. (25 years ago, 5-Sep-99, to lugnet.general)

  Different Countries, Different Prizes?

I was reading the contest rules for Canada and discovered the 17+ prize is different from the US 17+ prize: One person aged 17+ will receive: A LEGO MINDSTORM [TM] Star Wars set and an additional LEGO MINDSTORM [TM] set valued at $300 U.S. So I (...) (25 years ago, 6-Sep-99, to lugnet.general)

  I want this!

  RE: I want this!

But unfortunately for you they would be glued together, so you wouldn't be able to do anything with them except say you have 2000 macaroni bricks. Ben Gatrelle :-) (URL) -----Original Message----- (...) (25 years ago, 7-Sep-99, to lugnet.starwars)
