  Acquired the latest full Lego catalogue.........
 
.........but sadly it is only an updated 1998 UK catalogue, incorporating ZNAP. It doesn't even have Mindstorms in it yet. It was at Legoland Windsor, where the shop is still open until Christmas time. Lots of adds in the Windsor area for the shop, (...) (26 years ago, 21-Nov-98, to lugnet.announce, lugnet.loc.uk)

(...) I haven't got one of those yet. (...) Well, those early "Next Year" sheets never come out in the UK because it is all 1998 stock, we won't get any 1999 stock until Jan 1999 - it's just the way it is. Remember their 5928 is made in the USA (...) (26 years ago, 22-Nov-98, to lugnet.loc.uk)

I was also at the Legoland widsor shop last week, and boy was I unimpressed. The updated 1998 catalogue, and the silver keyrings by the door were the only highlights of my stay. The free parking and bus that you talked about were actually part of (...) (26 years ago, 23-Nov-98, to lugnet.loc.uk)

(...) I (...) Last year, Beatties had 1998 stuff in about a week before Christmas! As you say, we won't get sight of a new catalogue until early January. The LEGO Club is pretty good at getting them out quickly, but I always ring up on the 2nd Jan (...) (26 years ago, 23-Nov-98, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Being at uni, and not owning a car makes it a tad difficult to get them, but somehow over the past term I have managed to obtain the ferrari, the pit stop, and 3 each of #1 through #7. Now I just hope I can (...) Won't be bothering with them. Not a big cereal eater, and loathe to buy them and throw all of the food away just for a puny set! (...) Well, I never knew that was the case as I have never seen it happen. I can't say I have shopped that close to Christmas. I will keep a look out this year though.
