Wow! Marc, that was absolutely fantastic. I showed it around and work, and people loved it. Utterly brilliant. But, I have a question - what exactly is in the silhouette picture that pops up during the monolith sequence? I thought that the point of (...) (24 years ago, 12-Jan-01, to lugnet.animation)

VirftualDub (www.virtualdub.com) is a nice peice of software. BBmpeg is a good mpeging software. DVD's are mpeg2 at 720by 480. Try making your animation like that. Remember that your images are digital, mpeg usually works better on live video then (...) (24 years ago, 12-Jan-01, to lugnet.animation)

I have several hundred frames (POV rendered) in BMP format that I'd like to put into a movie; what is the best software for doing that? Best format? How are DVD's encoded? I was interested in starting to do some stop motion with a digital camera and I am interested in any information anyone has on what programs people are using. Ed, Thanks...the split clip and delete method will work. Maybe zooming in a bunch on the clip will help with finer cuts. I downloaded a freeware application called ABC Videoroll...after playing around with it for a bit I noticed that it at least can (...) (24 years ago, 10-Jan-01, to lugnet.animation)
