Re: New LEGO Toys Based on Jurassic Park III

(...) So, obviously nearly everyone has already seen the images that appeared on brickshelf and disappeared no later. I am really surprised that nobody has made them available at a different server. However, many people seem to remember the contents (...) (24 years ago, 5-Feb-01, to lugnet.animation)

Re: New LEGO Toys Based on Jurassic Park III

(...) Hm, if LEGO can release these facts now already, then I don't understand why they can't give us the images of these two sets right away. They *do* have images already. I know that because I have seen them. I'm pretty sure the set numbers are (...) (24 years ago, 5-Feb-01, to lugnet.animation, lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.admin.database)

(...) This was *exactly* my reaction. Thanks for putting it into words. Now people will really be able to build dragons. Jonathan (24 years ago, 5-Feb-01, to lugnet.animation)

Re: New LEGO Toys Based on Jurassic Park III

(...) The larger dinos are *definitely* much larger than the Adventurers dinos. I was a little disappointed at first with the Juniorised feel of the sets, but as I studied the images I realised that, in fact, the same pieces (esp. the body pieces) (...)   Re: New LEGO Toys Based on Jurassic Park III

(...) In the case of Harry Potter, the brand-empowering prestige of having gotten the licence is leveraged ASAP. It wasn't hyped to consumers yet because that could have hurt holiday 2000 sales, plus a whole year wait was too much for consumers. (...) (24 years ago, 5-Feb-01, to lugnet.animation)

Re: New LEGO Toys Based on Jurassic Park III

(...) These aren't those, not as far as I can tell. (...) These newer ones are pretty big. A what looked to me like a red crocodile/dragon head was the *tongue* in the T-Rex. Unfortunately, I don't have pictures I can share. eric (24 years ago, 5-Feb-01, to lugnet.animation)

Re: New LEGO Toys Based on Jurassic Park III

(...) Star Wars I was definitely all over. I mean, SW is a quality license, and I'm a huge fan, so of course I was ecstatic. Disney, same thing. I mean, the established Mickeyverse characters. Well, I'm not a huge fan... but I mean it's been around (...) (24 years ago, 5-Feb-01, to lugnet.animation)
