Re: LEGO Ambassadors Status Report - Summer 2007

(...) This is an interesting question about how representation should be spread. I believe that each fan should feel like they have access to an Ambassador to a reasonable degree. That is an ideal that, from cycle to cycle, we should move closer to. (...) (17 years ago, 26-Jul-07, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX)

  Re: The Official "Issues List"

Thanks! Every little helps! God bless, Nathan (17 years ago, 26-Jul-07, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX)

  Re: The Official "Issues List"

(...) I don't know if it was in the list or not - but instruction quality has been brought up in discussions with TLG people. Especially the black issue, because they used to have such a great solution: outline the black pieces in white. I think it (...) (17 years ago, 26-Jul-07, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX)

  Re: The Official "Issues List"

(...) Nelson - thanks for this, I think this is exactly what the community would like to see! Regarding more issues, one thing I don't see on the list that I'd like to is the poor representations of rendered box art and instructions, e.g. when you (...)   The Official "Issues List"

In my 'Status Report" post, I mentioned: (...) The issues list is now posted on the (URL) sidebar. These issues, regarding LEGO products and services worldwide, should come as no surprise to anyone, as they have been brought to the Ambassadors' (...) Aaron, Its not an unfair indictment on my part. I must admit to being a bit more of an observer and less outgoing than Jake, one of the parts of my job I'm working on at the moment and I will do my best to be more available online. Steve (17 years ago, 26-Jul-07, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX)

Re: LEGO Ambassadors Status Report - Summer 2007

(...) Not to pick on you Felix (I would've voted for you in an ambassador contest or just about anything else your MOCs are so interesting ; ) but this line is worth responding to. Eurobricks is without representation despite, I'm told, many of (...) (17 years ago, 26-Jul-07, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX)

Re: LEGO Ambassadors Status Report - Summer 2007

(...) I'll bite. This is a mixed question for sure. Product development and release of information are what need to be kept secret absolutely. The people who work on marketing plans and developing new things are dependant on the information not (...) (17 years ago, 26-Jul-07, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX)

Re: LEGO Ambassadors Status Report - Summer 2007

Lenny, I can share what I made during the Billund design trip because I was granted permission by the Castle product design lead. At Brickworld 2007 I gave a presentation on fan involvement in the design process. Currently I am working on an online (...) (17 years ago, 26-Jul-07, to lugnet.ambassadors, FTX)

Re: LEGO Ambassadors Status Report - Summer 2007

(...) I agree communities should choose who represents them. But if it was based on a voting system imagine what would happen; Would people start going to forums and campaigning-- or worse, mudslinging to get votes? I can see that getting really (...)
