the list looks great!! i'm glad you enjoyed "1900" (who wouldn't, imho) even
though it's vaguely adventurers theme. had you seen "the decievers" before, or
was it a new one to you? i was trying to think of other merchant/ ivory films
that fit into this category... i also thought of the tnt movie. "rough riders"
with tom berringer as roosevelt. it's a really great non-fiction adventurer
movie. hard for me to say, being a huge kathleen turner fan, but..."romancing
the stone" could be added to that bad list.
