Re: Palm Trees: old segmented vs. new one piece

(...) Oh, quit complaining... Frank and I could BOTH be active on eBay at the same time. Fortunately for you, we're not. (ALTHOUGH... I AM the reason that WB ran out of everything.) (26 years ago, 24-Jan-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.pirates, lugnet.adventurers)

Re: HUHNH???... (was "Re: Young Obi-Wan's Head")

(...) Tia is in a new syndicated TV series called "Relic Hunter"... it's pretty campy, but is very true to the 'romantic-adventurer' genre. This past week's episode featured Tia and the female antangonist in a protracted mud-wrestle... I will admit (...) (26 years ago, 24-Jan-00, to lugnet.adventurers)

HUHNH???... (was "Re: Young Obi-Wan's Head")

(...) "Tia Carrera"???... I can understnad "Indiana Jones", OK, ...but TIA CARRERA?!?... Please elucidate. Thanks, Franklin (26 years ago, 24-Jan-00, to lugnet.adventurers)

  Re: Young Obi-Wan's Head

(...) <schnip!> (...) I wholeheartedly agree; the problem is that Thunder's supposed to be the hero! What with the Black Top Hat and Colonel whatzis and the Guy with the Hook, the villains are thick on the ground in Adventurers. If you put Johnny (...)   Re: Young Obi-Wan's Head

(...) I think of Johnny Thunder as smarmy. If I were to re-enact a stereotypical silent movie in LEGO (such as: heroine tied to train tracks by ev-il villian, rescued by virtuous hero), Johnny would be the villian. Steve (26 years ago, 24-Jan-00, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.adventurers)

  Re: Research Glider

(...) To me it looks more like a couple of red 1x2x1.3 "bricks" with curve and plate extension. A kepi would be very nice indeed, but I think it's an army cap. Looks like a 2x2 round tile on top of the "rock". Christian (26 years ago, 23-Jan-00, to lugnet.adventurers)

David Little wrote in message ... (...) West (...) haven't (...) that (...) There are a handful listed on my LEGO links pages: (URL) anyone is aware of anything missing from this, please let me know. Kevin Knoot wrote in message ... (...) etoys (...) Hm, is that a red Star Wars engine in there? If so, I think it would be the first use of the SW engine outside the SW theme.   Re: Young Obi-Wan's Head

(...) I was looking at Johnny Thunder last night myself and noticed that, for a hero, he's a pretty uptight-looking fellow. I'm kind of a latecomer to the Adventurers scene, but man alive! It's sort of hard to tell the players without a scorecard! (...) (26 years ago, 21-Jan-00, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.adventurers)

  Research Glider

Has everyone seen this? I just noticed they have a pic of it up over at etoys here: (URL) like a very simple but fun set. Nice reuse of the Ninja wings. (26 years ago, 21-Jan-00, to lugnet.adventurers)

  Re: 2995 and 2996 from Shop-at-Home

(...) Yes it is the same Christian. At least the ones I got from S&H are. BTW I will get you a scan of the set you requested earlier, this weekend. Mark L (26 years ago, 14-Jan-00, to lugnet.adventurers)

  2995 and 2996 from Shop-at-Home

I have a 5900 from Shop-at-Home and it's produced in Europe. It just has a label added across the front warning about the choking hazard. See (URL) pictures. My question is: Does anyone know if it's the same with 2995 and 2996 from Shop-at-Home? (...) (26 years ago, 14-Jan-00, to lugnet.adventurers)

  Kaduus?

Has anyone else planned to add some Kaduus from 7115 Gungan Patrol to the Lost Island? Christian (URL) (26 years ago, 14-Jan-00, to lugnet.adventurers)

Re: Palm Trees: old segmented vs. new one piece

(...) Well Frank, you have to have one of the biggest Lego budgets on the planet. I mean there are entire third-world countries that spend less on their survival than you do on your collection.   Re: Palm Trees: old segmented vs. new one piece
