Re: 7416 Emperor's Ship for Adventurer's Orient Expedition Review

(...) Sounds like a nice ship. I need to get several for the Pirate games at Gen Con (after a recent building spree I'm up to 19 cutters but am now out of sails). This ship sounds slightly larger than the ITP cutter, but not enough to affect the (...) (21 years ago, 3-Jul-03, to lugnet.pirates, lugnet.adventurers)

  Re: Ordered my Dragon Fortress

I don't have it here in front of me right now, but I'm pretty sure it is the same old one. I don't recall him having a new face and I think I would remember if he did. Steve (...) (21 years ago, 3-Jul-03, to lugnet.adventurers, FTX)

  Re: Ordered my Dragon Fortress

(...) I was wondering - does Johnny have his old face or new face? (URL) (21 years ago, 3-Jul-03, to lugnet.adventurers, FTX)

Re: 7416 Emperor's Ship for Adventurer's Orient Expedition Review

(...) Oops, my bad. 6-wide bow piece. The ship at it's widest is eight-studs. -->Bruce<-- (21 years ago, 2-Jul-03, to lugnet.pirates, lugnet.adventurers, FTX)

Re: 7416 Emperor's Ship for Adventurer's Orient Expedition Review

(...) -snip- (...) Standard 8-wide boat piece? You do mean 6-wide, don't you? (Though 8-wide would be so much cooler!). -snip- (...) Sounds like a great little vessel.   7416 Emperor's Ship for Adventurer's Orient Expedition Review

7416 Emperor's Ship, 175 pieces, Adventurer's Orient Expedition I found this at Toys R Us (TRU) for $19.95 - the Lugnet database listing shows it for $30, which I presume is incorrect. Despite going on a mad spree of Lego buying at TRU and the (...) (21 years ago, 1-Jul-03, to lugnet.reviews, lugnet.pirates, lugnet.adventurers, FTX)

Re: Orient Expedition and Designer Sets in CA

(...) The Lego store at Downtown Disney has the Dragon Fortress in stock (6/28). No Junk though! I was tempted but with all Harry Potter at 50% off I finally got a Hogwart's Castle (besides the two I sold previously when it first came out and was in (...)   Re: The Elephant Shop and a few other MMs

(...) There is a little dark blue in it as supports but most of my dk blue was taken by another small project I'll be posting soon. Thanks for your comments and God Bless, Nathan Brickshelf Gallery: (URL) (21 years ago, 25-Jun-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.adventurers, FTX)

Re: The Elephant Shop and a few other MMs

(...) Mmmm...I like it. There needs to be more Orient Expedition MOCs. My only suggestion would be to add a bit more color to the Elephant shop (like dark blue). (URL) (21 years ago, 25-Jun-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.adventurers, FTX)

  Dragon Fortress Preliminary Review

Hello all, For everyone who cares, I got my Dragon Fortress and have it put together. I'll post a more complete review soon, but preliminarily, I think it is a great set. Many great pieces, (would definately pick up another if it was on clearance). (...) (21 years ago, 23-Jun-03, to lugnet.adventurers, lugnet.reviews)

  Re: Ordered my Dragon Fortress

Hi all, Well it arrived this morning. Unfortunately I won't be able to put it together until Monday night with work and being out of town this weekend. I did put the figures and half track together (They came separately in a odd little white (...) (21 years ago, 20-Jun-03, to lugnet.adventurers)

  Re: Clear Horses? Clear Minifigs?

(...) MORE SPOILERS The petronis (sp?) that saved Harry from the dementors was actually a stag, not horse, and nobody was riding it. The only reference to ghost horses that I am aware of is in the first book, there were riders off to the headless (...)   Re: Clear Horses? Clear Minifigs?

(...) If this is from the 3rd HP movie and you have not read it, SPOILER ALERT SPOILERS In the 3rd book Harry has to fight some baddies by going back in time (like an hour) using a watch Hermonie has, in the end of the story, he is saved from the (...)   Re: Clear Horses? Clear Minifigs?

(...) All the second-movie sets have been released, so this could be something in the third movie. However, I'm very wary about this horse/minifig. If it's not a clone, then it will probably be in an expensive set, like the chinese dragon from the (...) (21 years ago, 18-Jun-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.adventurers, lugnet.harrypotter, FTX)

  Re: Ordered my Dragon Fortress

(...) Hi, The Brickshelf image is the correct one, with the fireworks at the left front. You can see the front of the real model here: (URL) (long load time). The small building houses the knight, and is placed in the same position as the stairs are (...) (21 years ago, 14-Jun-03, to lugnet.adventurers, FTX)

  Re: Ordered my Dragon Fortress

Well I might be able to resolve this today... I got a notice that the post office tried to deliver a package yesterday while I was at work. They are going to try again today... Steve (21 years ago, 14-Jun-03, to lugnet.adventurers, FTX)

  Re: Ordered my Dragon Fortress

(...) Not true. If you look at the (URL) Brickshelf scan>, you can see that the lower ring of black 3x4 slopes does not extend across in the back. If these were front and back shots of the same exact model, that section should be missing from the (...) (21 years ago, 14-Jun-03, to lugnet.adventurers, FTX)

Orient Expedition and Designer Sets in CA

Hi all, While waiting to be seated at dinner tonight, my girlfriend and I wandered through a toy store neighboring the restaurant and what did I see? They had the new Orient sets available (though no Dragon Fortress). They did have the other three, (...)   Re: Ordered my Dragon Fortress

(...) Hi there! I haven't got the set my self yet, but Christian Lindblad Rasmussen brought it with him (so I could see it :-)) to the first event of the new Danish Lego club Byggepladen. The fireworks is placed on the left front, as in the first (...) (21 years ago, 14-Jun-03, to lugnet.adventurers, FTX)
