Okay, my problem is not me and it is not a browser problem (Netscape v4.51).
The problem is that I have been using (for months) the nested/compact thread
display. I guess to make this Submit All rating feature work, I need to switch
to the nested/all or the linear/all thread display. These thread displays both
have the radio buttons on a single .cgi page whereas the compact thread display
options do not. And, additionally, reading posts is easier, too.
I now understand correctly (versus understanding incorrectly as before). Thank
you Todd and Larry.
Now, I have a new question.
Using the nested/all and/or linear/all thread displays, how can I easily mark
all messages as read? How can I mark just certain messages as read? More
specifically, how to do this without leaving this thread display?
Do articles become marked as read when I rate them and submit the rating?
