Another possibility is leaving it where it is, but providing a link on the
.space page (similar to SciBrick@ and StarWars@).

I think it'd be a lot simpler than having the entire newsgroup moved, and yet retain the function you want-- namely, to have people looking for space be able to see mecha as well since they're so (...) (20 years ago, 15-Mar-05, to lugnet.admin.suggestions)
