What I dont understand is how .people doesnt fulfill this need already.

Because .people is still hetero-assumed. Just like every other group in the
entirety of LUGNET. Its the same reason why we have Black History Month,
Mothers Day, Fathers Day, and Secretarys Day, when every day of the year
is about whites, kids, and bosses.

Maybe this is how you go through life, viewing the world, Dave, but dont sit
there for a second and say thats how everyone does. And really, lets all
feel guilty that we have common sense and common sense usually helps us
determine what is normal and what isnt. Its ridiculous. Tell people to
work for a color-blind society and then start doing things that force people
to look at things by skin color. Tell people gender doesnt matter then
start all these programs that are based on peoples gender.

Well, I was not expecting THIS much of a response simply because I said of what
I said in my letter. A lot of people must think of me as a narrow-minded,
bigoted, right-wing, Bible-thumping homophobe now because I said that it was not
a good idea to promote such a group on LUGNET. As for those holidays, their
purpose is, whether it was intentional or not, to promote discrimination,
hatred, prejudice, and sexism. My intention was to ipreventi, not
ipromotei hatred, prejudice, racism, sexism, and ethnicity. I was
protesting because I thought that this was indeed a violation of the Terms of
Service to LUGNET and if it is not a violation of those rules, then, for the
safety of everyone involved here, regardless of sexual orientation or other such
creeds, we should remove these groups and other similar groups IMMEDIATELY from
LUGNET and never allow such groups to be formed again. If we can not promote
groups that openly form discriminatory views on LUGNET because they promote
destructive views on LUGNET, then we should logically treat this group as a hate
group. If it isolates itself from everyone else on LUGNET and promotes a form
of elitism, then it is discriminatory to people on LUGNET. It is common sense,
people.
I am no hatemonger by any means but I am sure that the people who responded to
my letter negatively are hatemongers because they can not tolerate a view that
is different to their own in life, yet they claim that I am intolerant of them
because I say that their lifestyles are intolerant to other people in life.
This viewpoint that people like those who speak negatively to me shows the REAL
intolerant lifestyle and it not only shows it to me but it shows it to everyone
online.
To those of you who ridiculed me for standing up to what you deem narrow-minded,
right-wing, Bible-thumping, homophobic, backwards, ancient, old-fashioned,
antiquated, and obsolete views in life, why not actually become serious about
MAKING a REAL point about what I say on LUGNET instead of making fun of me? If
you were really serious about what you believe in life, then why not prove it to
everyone on LUGNET, including me? As for my beliefs, well, I respect LUGNET
people enough NOT to try and promote a .group for what I stand up for on LUGNET.
I try to respect people on LUGNET. The problems occur when someone does
something that disrespects me as a person and what I stand for in life, then I
have to make it known that it offends me and that it offends God. If those
words which are said in true faith and conviction and in all honest tend to
cause you to hate me, then who is the real hatemonger? The only logical
solution is to create a stronger Terms of Service and to abolish such groups to
form in LUGNET.people. I protested what I protested to help LUGNET, not to harm
LUGNET. We should also ban the usage of heterophobia on LUGNET because if
homophobia is not tolerated, then why should heterophobia be tolerated? There
may be some people out there who would ask, What is heterophobia?
Heterophobia is the fear of a heterosexual lifestyle or of a person who lives a
heterosexual lifestyle. It also consists of saying derogatory, mean, hateful,
spiteful, malicious, slanderous, and otherwise hurtful words on LUGNET to people
who are heterosexual. We do not tolerate hatred on LUGNET and it should remain
as such on LUGNET.
There are those who will claim that I am a hypocrite by that statement. Well,
if they get to promote their lifestyle and no one is supposed to ask the
questions that are asked about their lifestyle, then where is this thing called
freedom of speech? (Todd and Suzanne, and ACLU and ACLJ lawyers, if you are
listening, if you live in the USA or any country that promotes a similar
concept, this also applies to you. If you can say anything, then I also have
that right in life.)
Also, if homosexuality was acceptable in life, then why do the majority of the
Civil Rights Movement leaders actively and openly condemn and do not like the
current homosexual movement being compared to an actual wrong that had occured
in society? These leaders are either hypocrites or they are simply trying to
prevent more needless hatred in life. Also, if you must know, many of them are
also Christians.
To those who would dare to use any of those names to apply to me, remember, I
only said what God and other people who follwed Him said on the subject and what
it did to people. I only ultimately follow the rules of God. No human has
authority over God. No human can ever replace God. I am an imperfect being but
at least I know of a right and I know of a wrong and I know that it is foolish
to subject myself to a moralless system of values in life. God made everyone
equal in life. Satan destroyed equality in life. Now if you want to be an
equal, then there is no need for people such as yourself or even myself to
grovel and beg and go through meaningless rituals to prove our equality in life.
God took care of that in life. He did so by sending Jesus on the Cross to die
for everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, and for all of the wrong that had ever
happened, that was occuring at that time, and what was going to happen in the
future. If you like equality, listen to these words. If you hate equalty, then
keep ridiculing these words and promote more hypocrisy on LUGNET.
LUGNET was meant to be for the love of LEGO and LEGO-related themes. If we
wanted a social forum, then LUGNET.people should be enough of a forum to have
these views. If you do not agree to these terms, then maybe LUGNET is not for
you. LUGNET should be for everyone to love LEGO. It should not be a place to
promote or to denigrate those who promote a certain view on LUGNET. LUGNET
should have the primary focus on LEGO. It should not serve, nor was is it
intended to become, as a political forum. If you feel so strongly about those
kind of views, then this is not the site for you. I did not start this argument
but I intend on finishing this argument.
