I spotted a couple of mistakes in the charter for the new newsgroup. Also is it possible to set up an alias "colour" that also refers to the same group, to make the rightpondians happy? (...) What is "ntial"? (...) Shouldn't "inst" be "color" here? (20 years ago, 10-May-04, to lugnet.admin.nntp)

(...) <WILD_SPECULATION> I'll bet you anything that OE (*cough* *cough* Microsoft *cough* :-) implements the 'NEWGROUPS' command in the NNTP protocol incorrectly, and in your case sent CMT instead of GMT for the time when querying what new groups (...)
