OK, whew, it's completed. The lugnet.fun.gaming group has been renamed to lugnet.gaming, and subgroups for BrikWars (URL) and Starship (URL) have now finally been created. Earlier today, the groups lugnet.football and lugnet.publish.cinema were renamed to lugnet.sports and lugnet.animation, respectively. If you're subscribed to lugnet.announce, I apologize for the flood of reposts of old messages from lugnet.publish.cinema (now lugnet.animation) and/or lugnet.football (now lugnet.sports). Today I'm going to tackle the renaming of lugnet.publish.cinema to lugnet.animation and lugnet.football to lugnet.sports. This transformation will basically go in 4 steps: 1. Todd, I was looking up Telnet in Windows XP (haven't used it before) and I decided to try NNTP again - it worked. I don't know what was going on earlier, but I guess as long as it continues to work I'll just keep using it. Thanks for the quick (...) (22 years ago, 11-Mar-03, to lugnet.admin.nntp)

I've come back to Lugnet after a while away and setup to use NNTP to read the newsgroups that I like. It's worked fine for over a week and today all of a sudden I get the following error: The TCP/IP connection was unexpectedly terminated by the (...) (22 years ago, 11-Mar-03, to lugnet.admin.nntp)

I have had to change my email address to due to the domain for this one having lapsed. I'm using the web post interface to post this. I have logged in and changed the email address in my profile, but I cannot post to the NNTP server (I get the error (...) (22 years ago, 7-Mar-03, to lugnet.admin.nntp)

Micro-scale building (as in "microfig" scale) is coming into its own in a big way, thanks in a large way recently to the efforts (...)
