Todd,
I was looking up Telnet in Windows XP (haven't used it before) and I
decided to try NNTP again - it worked. I don't know what was going on
earlier, but I guess as long as it continues to work I'll just keep using
it. Thanks for the quick response!

| (...) Paul, Ok, cool....Glad it's not something more insidious like a low-level TCP packet problem or something like that. However, there is still an issue with xinetd acting flaky...there have been three or four times today when the nntpd daemon (...) (22 years ago, 12-Mar-03, to lugnet.admin.nntp)
