Me too and proud of it. Excessively so, some would say, witness the recent
kerfluffe around posting buildings in trains.org...

Me too.

I think a charter clarification is a great idea as well (and while we're at
it maybe we could reiterate that things like Josh's recent entry into custom
kits do not belong in .announce or .town either)
But I differ slightly on how to compartmentalise. I think Brickshops should
be more like theory than like bst. We just convinced Eric Smith to start
watching it and to start posting status updates when Brickbay is sick, so I
think wading through flogs is counterproductive of his time and ours if we
want to see those messages.

Strike "_or third parties like BrickBay_"
and c/straight sales/straight sales including third party sites like
BrickBay and other straight sale venues/

Strike "_, announcements, sales_ and _other_" and add "but specifically NOT
including announcements of sales, new items, entries and exits from the
business, etc."

I'm OK with this one, although arguably garage sale tips belongs in
"theory", ne? Garage sales are not commercial endeavours nor are they likely
to persist in one place long enough for a post about a particular sale to be
of any value.

So in net I agree clarification is good but disagree about the particular
partition function.
I support Cary's curator candidacy as long as I get my way on the charters,
else I'll have to stand for the post myself. :-)
