Re: Et in Arcadia Lego - new MOCs

(...) AFAIK there has not been a drop in traffic, at least, not a significant one. I think that we also need to keep in mind that it's summer (at least here in the US) and a lot of people are taking vacations... and that not everyone uses the SMTP (...)   Re: Et in Arcadia Lego - new MOCs

I've noticed this alot too, I've noticed that alot of people have slowed down or even stopped replying to other's creation's probably due to the fact of the authentication. Some people probably figure 'why should I waste the extra time replying to (...) (23 years ago, 14-Aug-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.admin.general)

Re: Et in Arcadia Lego - new MOCs

I'm not trying to derail Paul's thread or anything but I have noticed less posts from certain regulars as well. I'm still posting but I feel I've dropped a bit. I actually almost didn't post this message and then figured that it didn't make any (...) (23 years ago, 14-Aug-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.admin.general)

  Re: posting varification, ug!

(...) Ya, this is somewhat of a loophole (but a known one, and mentioned when the authentication mechanism was announced) and it needs closing.   Re: Come On!

However this is usually considered bat "netiquette". And yes, Outlook Express (...) (23 years ago, 14-Aug-01, to lugnet.admin.general)

  Re: Come On!

Its not at all confusing. I figure I'd do follow ups to the LUCNY group as its new and its in our area. Cross posted to LUCNY because I mentioned it. :) -- Nicole widow of Kenneth A. (...) Well, as in you're not logged in because you are either not a member, you're not accepting cookies, or something else. (...) Oh? So PGP authorization is currently in effect for members who have uploaded their PGP key and post with NNTP/SMTP? (...) (23 years ago, 13-Aug-01, to lugnet.admin.general)

  Re: Come On!

(...) Ignore this if it is at all confusing... but if you use the web interface that should be OK, you can post to several groups and set FUT to more than one but less than all of them. Not sure about Outlook Express or how it works so that could be (...) (23 years ago, 13-Aug-01, to lugnet.admin.general)

(...) but if you're a member, and you're posting via the web, LUGNET already knows who you are... no need for pgp there... unless you mean as a way to post without being logged in?
