I think we'd need a separate dedicated server for running chat, and that
would be expensive. I remember researching the issue a couple of years ago
and coming to the conclusion that a chat server consumes significant system
resources. (Anyone want to donate a server box and pay for its cohosting on
a fast connection somewhere? :-)
