The LUGNET News search function is now re-enabled. I completely revamped the index data structures and list-merge algorithm and rewrote the core query engine in C. It's a much more solid implementation. Everyone's patience during the outage is much (...) (25 years ago, 2-Jan-01, to lugnet.admin.general, lugnet.off-topic.geek, lugnet.announce) !!

Kenneth, An FYI - the $10 membership fee is a one time only donation. There is no monthly fee. But I like the layout, content of (URL) way I have my fonts set, it looks like you could add a line under the "News" (lugnetnewslogo-100x150x64.gif) graphic. You could have the image then immediately under it say "at 12:00 PM Dec 28, 2000". This (...) (25 years ago, 28-Dec-00, to lugnet.admin.general)

Todd, It would be great if a direct link to quickset were available on the news-reading screens. I was thinking about a link in the header that fires off the quickset applet.
