Is it possible to sort searches by posting date?

Is it possible to sort searches by date? This would be good for
searching the market groups, where it is usually only the recent posts
that matter.

(...) It actually does sort all searches by date now -- but the date is only one of several factors coming into play when ranking the results. Generally, newer matches sort nearer the top, but a better-yet-older match can certainly appear before a (...) (25 years ago, 25-Jan-00, to lugnet.admin.general)
