I think it's from the Robotics mailing list <lego-robotics@crynwr.com> As those
names are taken on trust rather than having applied for posting priviledges to
LUGNET. Sometimes they don't have names at all! But I could be wrong :)

Just curious. I did several searches on Lugnet and could not find out why sometimes the poster's name appears dark and sometimes light when readin news on the web interface. Theories I checked that did not seem to be correct. 1) Daughter articles (...) (25 years ago, 18-Jan-00, to lugnet.admin.general)
