    LUGNET Web Page —Scott Smallbeck
I noticed the new LUGNET LOGO on the traffic page and thought to check lugnet.com to see if you had put anything there, WOW!. You deserve a medal for all you efforts. Thanks alot. -- Scott Smallbeck materiel@halcyon.com (26 years ago, 4-Oct-98, to lugnet.admin.general)

Re: LUGNET Web Page —Mike Stanley
(...) Ditto. New main page looks awesome. (26 years ago, 4-Oct-98, to lugnet.admin.general)

Re: LUGNET Web Page —Matthew Miller
(...) A bit _grey_ though, in my humble brightly-colored opinion. (26 years ago, 4-Oct-98, to lugnet.admin.general)

Re: LUGNET Web Page —Todd Lehman
(...) Thanks, glad you like it. (...) I think the light-warm-brown bar on the left snaps to gray in 8-bit mode. #C8C8C0 -> #CCCCCC #E8E8E0 -> #CCCCCC (It's the same BGCOLOR as the tables in the news traffic page.) Under Windows, these might also map (...) (26 years ago, 4-Oct-98, to lugnet.admin.general)

Re: LUGNET Web Page —Matthew Miller
(...) I'm running in 32-bit color depth, and those are in fact the colors that get rendered. (I checked in photoshop to make sure exactly.) On my -- admittedly less-than-great -- monitor it comes out an off-grey rather than a warm brown. (In fact, (...) (26 years ago, 4-Oct-98, to lugnet.admin.general)

Re: LUGNET Web Page —Larry Pieniazek
Nice. I like the logo a lot. Very goofy, very Escher. I had been grousing for something to replace the manifesto and tie the bits and pieces together, thank you very much. Of course, now I have a DIFFERENT complaint.. the manifesto link is buried as (...) (26 years ago, 5-Oct-98, to lugnet.admin.general)

Re: LUGNET Web Page —Steve Bliss
(...) This is definitely overdue. Steve (26 years ago, 5-Oct-98, to lugnet.admin.general)

Re: LUGNET Web Page —Larry Pieniazek
(...) The reason I asked is that I have it on good information that there is some judge (i.e. Todd) judgement involved, it's not a straight vote. So even if we all asked for it to be nominated, Todd's natural modesty may not allow him to accept the (...) (26 years ago, 5-Oct-98, to lugnet.admin.general)

Cool LEGO Site of the Week —Todd Lehman
(...) That's very nice to hear. But I wonder what the practical use would be, since CLSotW is now a part of the site itself, and also has a banner link promoting the news section... (...) True, it's not a straight pure vote, but like I said before, (...) (26 years ago, 5-Oct-98, to lugnet.admin.general)

Re: Cool LEGO Site of the Week —Steve Bliss
The practical use would be that it would put LUGNET in the list of CLSotW's, where it belongs. Until it features LUGNET (at least once), CLSotW has not lived up to its name. And you wouldn't want people wondering if there are truly cool sites that (...) (26 years ago, 6-Oct-98, to lugnet.admin.general)

Re: Cool LEGO Site of the Week —Tom McDonald
I think there would have to be "overwhelming response" as the saying goes. But I've already said here that the question should be brought up before all maniacs who frequent LUG and RTL. I think I'll ask on RTL. (...) (26 years ago, 6-Oct-98, to lugnet.admin.general)

Re: LUGNET Web Page —Tom McDonald
(...) Need another page showing a tally of entries and votes received. Sounds like Mayor Todd eventually needs to have a way of having elections for his town. ( More Work!! :O ) (26 years ago, 5-Oct-98, to lugnet.admin.general)
