Re: LUGNET Links "Everything LEGO" page needs an update

(...) The database and scoring system idea you propose sounds like the best way to go. Like you said, just going through the task of checking every site would be a pain. I'd imagine this would be something that would take some time to get in full (...) (21 years ago, 21-Jun-03, to lugnet.admin.general)

(...) snipped thoughts (...) I've often wondered if it would be possible to slurp up the links from the member information pages. There could be a check box to select/deselect wether or not you wish to have your site listed on the main link page. (...) (21 years ago, 20-Jun-03, to lugnet.admin.general)

Re: LUGNET Links "Everything LEGO" page needs an update

(...) It would be great to see this updated, however, from my own experience I have to say that keeping a set of links pages up to date is an exceedingly difficult and time consuming task. What we really need is a capability for people to enter data (...) (21 years ago, 20-Jun-03, to lugnet.admin.general)

  Re: link labels

(...) Im having a 'mare with the new links too using Outlook Express 6. It appears to take the link for the thumb and the destination link and merge them meaning any link I have to follow I have to paste into notepad first to dissassemble the parts (21 years ago, 20-Jun-03, to lugnet.admin.general)

LUGNET Links "Everything LEGO" page needs an update

For starters, I hope I'm posting this in the right place. Second, please don't bark if this has been brought up too many times already. The "Everything LEGO" page is a great resource but a rather dated one- dated as in not up to date. Now, I'm (...) (21 years ago, 20-Jun-03, to lugnet.admin.general)

A month ago I uploaded scans for set 276. I've emailed K.Loch, I've posted here before, nothing seems to happen. Since the folder is still not public the moderators have obviously noticed what's in there. NOW WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO GET THE SCANS IN (...) (21 years ago, 20-Jun-03, to lugnet.admin.general)

  Re: New Threads on Lugnet

(...) Here's another suggestion: How 'bout a way for a poster to tag a post as having a picture or link to picture or MOC? So one could easily browse the announcements of new MOCs before wading through the commentary about them. James Wilson Dallas, (...) (21 years ago, 17-Jun-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.admin.general)

  Re: link labels

(...) I understand the convention better now. Sorry, I haven't read any of the FTX docs, since I'm not a big fan of web-based stuff when other formats place less load on the server and networks, and are easier for me to use. I'm not a URL and HTTP (...) (21 years ago, 17-Jun-03, to lugnet.admin.general)
