  Re: traffic page changes?

(...) Sorry about that. I used ' instead of ' in a couple places. I forgot that ' is only valid in XML (as opposed to all versions of HTML) and Mozilla happened to display it correctly so I didn't even notice. Anyway thanks for reporting (...) (22 years ago, 12-Mar-03, to lugnet.admin.general)

  Re: traffic page changes?

(...) Ya, that is not the best placement for signout (except that it's a really *natural* placement for signin... and having them in different places is bad). One plus is that you get a prompt, IIRC, you don't really get signed out without a further (...) (22 years ago, 12-Mar-03, to lugnet.admin.general)

  Re: traffic page changes?

(...) The traffic page is not that hidden if you're a web user, there's an icon (with the word traffic under it) on a great number of news related web pages, including the one I am on right now (compose message). But ya, LUGNET is cool all right. (22 years ago, 12-Mar-03, to lugnet.admin.general)

  Re: traffic page changes?

(...) I've never seen that page before now! Wow is LUGNET cool! What other 'hidden gems' are lurking somewhere in LUGNET that the average user doesn't know about? Dave K (22 years ago, 12-Mar-03, to lugnet.admin.general)

  traffic page changes?

(URL) seems to have changed. If it's inadvertant (there are some symbol substitution errors on it), and you all weren't aware of it, now you are. If it's not inadvertant... well, I sort of liked the old layout better, but I'm certainly convincable (...) (22 years ago, 12-Mar-03, to lugnet.admin.general)

(...) OK, today is the day. Downtime will begin at approximately 1:00PM EST and last approximately two to three hours. A notice to this effect will also appear atop most pages returned by the webserver, as a reminder. --Todd (22 years ago, 11-Mar-03, to lugnet.admin.general) !

Re: Scheduled downtime Thursday, March 6, 2003

(...) Unfortunately, this is being postponed until either later today or early next week. There's still one more software issue to resolve on the new hardware.
