I may be able to help with the colo aspect. I just moved Brickshelf to a new ISP, and I still have some rack space left. Its at Equinix in Ashburn, VA which has some of the most abundant and lowest cost bandwidth anywhere. Rack space however is not cheap so hopefully the new LUGNET server is only 1 or 2U. The ISP I’m using has about 8 GigE transit pipes plus a dozen or so peers. I do this sort of thing for a living and even I was surprised at how well their network performs. Basically they’ve done everything I would have done if I were setting up a colo business.

Some of you may have noticed a performance improvement on Brickshelf since the move :)
