How about this idea?:  If someone is a LUGNET member and are logged
into LUGNET, they can toggle a setting that determines whether or
not they see the personal set data on the Guide pages.  [...]

Still leaves a bottleneck, unfortunately.

True, but it helps reduce it.  Only logged-in members of LUGNET
would see personal data on the Guide pages, and even then only
if their preference is toggled to show such.  So the question is: of
the total hits on the Guide, what percentage come from logged-in
LUGNET members?

But I understand this is only "short term" relief.  As the LUGNET
membership grows and/or more members activate the setting to
show all personal data on the Guide pages, then the bottleneck
will get worse.

Hehe, I also just realized that if the answer to my question
above is such that the percentage is small, then maybe it's a
feature people aren't using.  I don't like that possibility  ;]

In all cases for sub-pages (including now), would it be possible
to have all of the personal set data on the same sub-page?  [...]

You mean repeating the "My Collection" box in the sub-page(s)?  Or glomming
the four sub-pages into a single sub-page?

Uh, I think B.  Many other people have suggested the same thing,
hopefully more clearly.  I see you've added a "See it all on one
page" option now.  That's basically what I meant.

On a related topic, does the Brickwise Report cause any load?  I
notice that this hasn't been functional (current) in quite a long
time.  As such it's misleading at present.  Are there plans to
revive it?  Or kill it?
