For reasons of server load and the above, I've moved the
notes and buy/sell/own listings to subpages that you can click up if you
want to see them.  It won't censor "x-theme sucks" for you, but it moves it

As an alternative, could this be a feature that users could turn on and off?

Back when the personal set data was first introduced to the Guide,
Todd and I had discussed that very idea:

(Scroll to point 3).

How about this idea?:  If someone is a LUGNET member and are logged
into LUGNET, they can toggle a setting that determines whether or
not they see the personal set data on the Guide pages.  If they
are not logged in (or are not a member), then they will not see
that data.  It could either be on a sub-page or perhaps not
available at all.

In all cases for sub-pages (including now), would it be possible
to have all of the personal set data on the same sub-page?  I
agree with Thomas that this has more utility than being spread
across four different sub-pages.

Thanx,
KDJ

(...) :-( You know more about LUGNET server load than I do, but is it really that much bandwidth to load some extra text? Not to sound negative. . .but seeing this a few minutes ago just depressed me. The utility of the LUGNET database has just (...) (23 years ago, 7-Mar-01, to lugnet.admin.database)
