  Lost heads!

I recently bought an incomplete copy of set 6049. I checked out the inventory to see what parts were missing. Then I noticed that according to the inventory, none of the minifigs in the set had heads :) I checked some other castle sets, and found (...) (21 years ago, 2-Jan-04, to lugnet.admin.database)

  Re: Cool new playtable

(...) In some states (including California) you may not have to pay the premium. Someone must have filed suit because the fine print in the last newspaper guest pass stated that there was no surcharge in CA and a couple of other states IIRC. Which (...)   Re: Cool new playtable

(...) IIRC they also take Discover, or used to (...) I bet shipping it to the eBay winner wasn't going to be cheap. That winner probably paid 2x what it would have cost to get it from Sams then...   Re: Cool new playtable

(...) Thanks for finding this, looks like a legitimate product to me. Given that it includes 4 pieces of actual furniture, 250 is not a totally outrageous price(1) (although I'd be curious to see what it costs if you were to just buy it in a store (...)   Re: Cool new playtable

(...) I saw this same thing up on ebay a few weeks ago. It definitely looks like something that Lego made--it's got the Make and Create graphics on it, and I couldn't spot a set number on the pictures. Here's the ebay link (auction now closed, so it (...)   Re: Cool new playtable

I don't remember the item number, except that it started with 4. I'll make sure to get the whole number the next time I go to Sam's Club. (If I'm very sneaky and don't get caught, I might also be able to get a picture of it.) I also forgot, as (...) (21 years ago, 24-Dec-03, to lugnet.org.us.indylug, lugnet.admin.database)

  Re: Cool new playtable

(...) Blue baseplates. Excellent. Do you have a set number for this playtable, or any pictures? The only playtable at samsclub.com appears to be a clone, and square. (21 years ago, 24-Dec-03, to lugnet.org.us.indylug, lugnet.admin.database)

The sets 250 and 253 seen on this page of the 1975 UK catalog is not in the database: (URL) 250 seems to be the same as the U.S. set 195. Martin (21 years ago, 17-Dec-03, to lugnet.admin.database)

Why are there no Star Wars pens in the database?

There are currently 14 Star Wars pens, the newest of which are very difficult to find. I'm wondering why these, and actually any pens from the LEGO Writing System, are not included in the LUGNET database. I'll even offer to admin a LEGO Writing (...)   Re: box photos for set 371 Motorized Truck....

Appologies for tagging onto an olde post, but I wanted to add some information for anyone searching about this set. I saw an auction for this set that included the set box and shipping box.   Creator 4278

Just a short note, that I bought the 4278 Creator Tub today in a warehouse here in Denmark. So it is no longer a Germany-exclusive as it is stated in the database.   Re: DB errors in set database

(...) I ran a script a couple days ago which did a thorough internal consistency check of the data and it found some anomalies, which it then fixed. --Todd (21 years ago, 6-Nov-03, to lugnet.admin.database)
