I usually follow the same pattern. LDraw then Auczilla. If all else fails, then I start thinking about a name. Usually it is something rather descriptive in a general sort of way. This is kind of an odd question, I think. In Tim Vattima's inventory of set #1782, the TRU-almost-exclusive Divers Discovery Station, has some interesting part names. This inventory is at (URL). The DB tracks the official piece count as given by LEGO on the box. If that's not available (for example, European (...) (26 years ago, 3-Nov-98, to lugnet.admin.database)

I was checking out the Pause set guide and couldn't help but notice that there is no piece count for this set. According to LEGO there are 201 pieces. After my model was built I still had one piece left over (a trans-yellow round 1X1) I'm not sure (...) (26 years ago, 3-Nov-98, to lugnet.admin.database)

Hi Todd, I have a scanner for a little while, and after this wedding thingy, I assume I'll have some spare time to scan my catalogs and send them to lugnet incoming. I think it will be usefull especially for duplo, scala, bellville, (...) (26 years ago, 23-Oct-98, to lugnet.admin.database)
